New Benefit: Lunch with Employer Subsidy

From October on we welcome our new employee benefit “meal allowance”! Fully in line with our values, BIG.Cube votes every year on a new benefit for us employees. We employees determine the selection of benefits ourselves.

Value-Based Corporate Governance - Co-Creating

Ever since the company was founded, we have attached great importance to corporate culture and have been shaping our working environment together. This is not only stated in our definition of values, but can be seen quite concretely in various places. In addition to the annual vote on a new benefit, we employees have, for example, voted together on our share of mobile work in a survey.

How is a New Benefit Voted on?

At the same time, every employee at the BIG.Cube knows that you have to get more creative from year to year when it comes to  new benefits. Because every year we look forward to the HR team’s announcement: “Bring your benefit ideas”. Our HR team first collects the suggestions from all colleagues and compiles a list with the top choice of benefits. These are then voted on.

The benefit with the most votes wins and will be introduced soon. Last year, the race was so close that the BIG.Cube even decided to introduce 2 benefits: full payment of the job ticket for public transport (M-Zone) and two fruit baskets per week. This year, the “meal subsidy” won the most votes among the 7 benefits offered. So in future, we employees will receive a meal subsidy and the administration will run very simply via an app.

Isn’t that a brilliant benefit?
